In 2006 we bought a handwritten letter from farmer Mark Newman asking us if Heritage Foods would at any time think about selling his pasture lifted old skool Berkshire pigs. We stated yes and also a partnership grew that still proceeds now, now by way of his son David who may have managed the genetic line of Berkshires that may be traced back again
